2013, performance-video for projection HD, video loop, 9’ 50, Camera : Ricardo Savard
The performance video “Icebreaker” was created in 2013 during an art residency with “Les Productions Recto-Verso” in Quebec City. In a dimmed space, against the backdrop of an impenetrable black, it shows a woman in a boat rowing on an imaginary sea in the form of transparent plastic tarpaulins. She moves the large panels without moving from the spot. The still headlights are reflected in the foils and reinforce the Sisyphos motif.
